About Us

We are a small team of craftsmen who specialise in the application of external lime, cement stucco rendered facades and the application of internal lath and plasterwork to a variety of period style properties.

We have been involved with plasterwork for 23 years working on a variety of period properties throughout Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. The properties range from Vernacular Cottages, Timber Framed Medieval buildings, Georgian and Victorian town houses to Modern Eco Friendly developments. We have also been lucky enough to be involved in projects in Eastern Europe working on Baroque style facades.

A large percentage of our work is carried out by using traditional methods, materials and techniques. We use a full range of St Astier NHL Hydraulic limes, high calcium fat limes, natural cements, self coloured lime and cement renders and daubing materials.

Decorative mouldings and features either externally or internally are carried out insitu by means of running profile moulds by hand to produce the desired profile to match the original cornice or moulding. We also take impressions and moulds of existing decorative items and enrichments when needed in our restoration and repair.

We apply lime washes, colour washes, distempers and silicate mineral paints to a variety of external facades and internal backgrounds.
